IT Support Specialist SOC Analyst
I solve problems fast and keep people productive — and I'm building the hands-on security skills to move from the help desk into a Security Operations Center.
I'm a Denver-based IT support professional with a builder's mindset. Day to day I troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and user-access issues — and I care about doing it in a way that's calm, clear, and documented.
My goal is to grow into a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst role. I'm getting there deliberately: standing up a home lab, learning how attacks and defenses actually work, and documenting everything so it's repeatable. This site tracks that progress.

Hands-on builds where I practice the skills a help-desk and SOC role need.
Built a Windows Server domain controller from scratch: promoted the server to a DC, configured Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, and set up organizational units, groups, and user accounts with appropriate access. Practiced the everyday user-provisioning and management tasks an IT admin handles.
Installed, configured, and maintained Linux across desktops, laptops, and Raspberry Pi devices, and provisioned both local and cloud-based virtual machines. Hardened system security, managed updates and patching, and automated recurring tasks with cron jobs.
Open to IT Help Desk and Support roles — Denver area and remote.
